Shimano TR2000LD And Aquatip Boat Combo 6ft 6in 6-10kg 1pc

A great combo that can take the beating

The Shimano TR2000LD and Aquatip Combo is a great
rod and reel combo that was put together for those who are out to
target Kingfish, troll for Albacore and tame the monster Hapuka of
the deep. Featuring Shimano’s versatile Charter Special TR2000 reel
and tough Aqua Tip rod, taking a beating is what this combo is all
about. The reel’s well-crafted machinery complements the rod’s
reliably tough performance.

The Reel
There are many anglers who yearn for a powerful saltwater reel but
still prefer the convenience of an easy to operate drag mechanism
and a reliable levelwind. It is for these anglers that Shimano
built the Shimano Charter Special TR2000 Lever Drag
Reel. Designed to take a beating, this reel offers plenty
of performance and easy to use features all with a very reasonable
price tag. From a massive, heavy-duty levelwind mechanism that just
will not jam and that spreads line evenly across the aluminium
spool, to the light but strong XT7 body, this reel is up to coping
with the worst treatment that inexperienced fishos can dish out.
For more experienced anglers then, this reel will continue to
provide faultless service for many years to come.

The Charter Special may not be as flashy or feature-rich as some of
the other reels in the Shimano lineup, but it continues to be
popular for saltwater anglers looking for a straightforward to
operate and trustworthy levelwind reel.

The Rod
The Shimano Aquatip Boat Rod has been one of the
best value for money rod in the market for quite some time now.
With the latest upgrade of grip shaping and dynamic new cosmetics,
there’s no wonder why it’s gaining popularity among anglers these
days. These rods feature an emerald green blank with an Aqua
coloured tip complemented with attractive blue, silver and black
bindings. A strong rod that is ideal for targeting those Snapper,
Kahawai, and small to medium-sized Kingies.
