fishing. It features the versatile Shimano TLD50 reel built tough
to take on the big fish. It’s paired with the heavy-duty Vortex Rod
that boasts a whopping 24-37kg rating. So if you’re out for the big
ones, this combo’s the one for you.

The Reel
The Shimano TLD50 LRS 2 Speed Reel is one of the
most reliable reels on the market that’s great for trolling live
bait, sub-surface bibbed lures, game lures for kingfish or even
targeting bluenose, hapuka and bass. The Shimano’s composite XT-7
frame material gives this reel a modern look and eliminates body
‘twist’. Once hooked up and in the heat of the battle, the 2-speed
feature allows you to select a high or low ratio mid-fight to
subdue even the most stubborn of reef dwellers. So gear up and let
the Shimano TLD50 LRS 2 Speed Reel give you the
best fishing adventure of your life.

The Rod
The Shimano Vortex Overhead Rod 5ft 6in 24-37kg
1pc is a strong, dynamic and versatile rod that is
designed to fit directly into the KIwi lifestyle. It features a
Power-carbon blank purposely designed to take the knocks, an
integrated glass tip to retain sensitivity from the bite to the
fight, and enhance overall performance without compromise. These
features allow Kiwi anglers to take full advantage of the more
traditional bait fishing techniques, including the perfect match
for the Shimano Baitrunner series. The Shimano Vortex
Overhead Rod 5ft 6in 24-37kg 1pc has been designed by kiwi
fishos for kiwi fishos – it’s as simple as that!
