Shimano TLD 15 And Vortex Boat Combo 6ft 10in 10-15kg 1pc

A reliable and well-balanced rod and reel combo

The Shimano TLD 15 and Vortex Boat Combo is a
well-balanced set especially matched for boat fishing. It features
the versatile Shimano TLD 15 lever drag reel built tough to take on
the big fish. It’s paired with the heavy-duty Vortex rod. So if
you’re out livebaiting, straylining, trolling or jigging, this
combo’s the one for you.

The Reel
Shimano’s TLD reels are arguably the most versatile lever drag
overhead reels around, built tough to take on those fish that you
don’t want to get away. The Shimano TLD15 Lever Drag
Reel is great for light to medium tackle game fishing, and
they also make pretty good casting reels. Place a thumb on the
spool, flip the lever back to the ‘free’ position and fire away.
Perfect for use out of a boat, off the rocks, or anywhere that big,
fast fish live. This reel is ideal for catching Snapper but can
take on a Kingfish when an opportunity arises.

The Shimano TLD reels are light in hand, so easy to shift they’re
almost mindless. They’re adaptable to any number of bluewater
species; and because they’re built by Shimano, durability is an
inevitable part of the package. This offshore lever drag reel will
give you years of dependable service.

The Rod
The Shimano Vortex 2017 Overhead Rod is a dynamic
and versatile rod that has been designed to fit directly into the
Kiwi lifestyle. This rod features a Power-Carbon blank specially
designed to take the knocks, an integrated glass tip so as to
retain sensitivity from the bite to the fight and also enhance
overall performance without compromise. These features allow Kiwi
anglers to take full advantage of the more traditional bait fishing
techniques including the perfect match for the Shimano Baitrunner
series. The Shimano Vortex 2017 Overhead Rod has
been designed by Kiwi fishos for Kiwi fishos – it’s as simple as
that!
