The Reel
The Shimano Grappler BB Ci4 200HG is the perfect choice for Kiwi inshore jigger. The body material is Ci4+ which is rigid and perfectly balanced in the palm. Weighing only 185grams the Grappler BB is one of the lightest baitcasters available in the market and has been designed to for light jigging applications.

CI4
Carbon Interfusion 4 (valence electrons) is a graphite body material that has been reinforced with carbon fibre. Lighter than Magnesium, yet strong enough to cope with the stresses of saltwater fishing.

The Rod
The new Shimano Maikuro II Casting Rod features a sleek, modern design with a matt black finish, white, silver and black trims, and butt configurations utilising Sea Guide carbon hooded reel seat. A combination of cork and EVA grips were selected for the best transmission of bites. Thanks to the highly responsive graphite blank, this rod can be used for targetting freshwater fish such as Trout and even heavier coastal and reef dwellers.
